Congratulations on the birth of your Jewish Baby Boy!
As a Board Certified and Arizona licensed pediatrician, and as a Mohel certified by the Jewish Conservative Movement, it would be my honor to help you celebrate the first Jewish milestone in your son’s life. As a no-fee service to the Arizona Jewish community, I have performed over 6,000 Britot (brisses, or Jewish ritual circumcisions) throughout Arizona since moving to the Valley in 1990.
Having practiced pediatrics for decades, and having personal experience with my own sons and grandchildren, I very much appreciate that the weeks before your son’s birth and certainly the eight days after can be both joyous and hectic. If you select me to serve as the Mohel at your son’s Brit / Bris, I’ll come to your house (or a location of your choosing) at a mutually agreeable time on the eighth day of your son’s life for the ceremony. The only things which you need to provide are: a Jewish boy, a Hebrew name for him, and some wine for the ceremony. I am happy to co-officiate with your Rabbi at your request. With your consultation, I’ll take care of the rest.
